This Burmese Wooden Nat figure with six arms, wearing a military-style helmet and clothing of a high-ranking official and gilded is one of the characters referred to as Taungmagyi Nat or Maung Min shin nat, both nats appearing with six arms which are included in the pantheon of 37 nats approved by King Anawrahta of Pagan during his reign between 1044 and 1077 AD, which were included to co-exist alongside Buddhism in Myanmar.
