19th-century Antique Gilded Burmese Alabaster Shan Buddha Statue seated on a double Lotus pedestal with hand gestures in bhumisparsa mudra, ears touching shoulders, and wearing a simple monks robe. The head shows a small cranial bump (usnisha) with a short squat pointed finial.

This genuine antique Buddha statue dating to the 19th century has more recently been regilded.
